Setting up Canon LBP6020 as a Network Printer
Canon LBP6020 is a pain to set up under Linux.
Server-side
You need to do these:
(Yes, it needs some i386 support library)
After you manage to get CUPS to print test page, you can start set up your clients
These are the package you need to install:
sudo apt-get install libc6:i386 libncurses5:i386 libstdc++6:i386 libpopt0:i386 libatk1.0-0:i386 libgtk2.0-0:i386 libpango1.0-0:i386 libxml2:i386
Linux Clients
- Use this driver:
Generic PostScript Printer Foomatic/Postscript (recommended)
Windows Clients
Windows 10
- Use this driver:
Microsoft PS Class Driver
Windows 7
- Use this driver:
Microsoft Publisher Color Printer
(Note that you might need to have Microsoft Publisher installed)
